Millstone’s Follies: The Lamest Lame Duck in Maine

The countdown clock is ticking.

Will Gov. Millstone step back from the precipice on which she is perched?

Is her devotion to the cult of Transgender Supremacy so deeply ingrained that she can’t walk herself back to biological reality?

The Trump Justice Department has set tomorrow as the deadline for Mills to comply with the letter and spirit of federal Title IX’s prohibition on males invading female sports and private spaces. US Attorney General Pam Bondi warned Mills last month that failure to comply will result in legal action against the state and potential termination of federal grants.

All I can say at this point is that Jackboot Janet is the gift that keeps on giving. She is a badly wounded lame duck, and she’s on the wrong side of a broiling 80/20 issue going into next year’s high-stakes midterm elections. She is exactly where we want her. Let’s make sure she remains the face of the Maine Democrat Party for the next twenty months.

In the meantime, Maine First Project will continue to recruit and train a grassroots army of Maine patriots focused on flipping school board seats. In the process, we are building a strong bench of legislative candidates for 2026, 2028, and beyond.

If that sounds to you like a worthwhile endeavor, join us in Brewer on Friday, May 9th, from 9 a.m. to noon for basic training in the art and science of confrontational politics at the state and local levels. MFP executive director Zach Gelpey and I will discuss best practices for winning school board elections, scores of which will be on the June ballot across the state.

We will be joined by Rep. Reagan Paul of Winterport, now in her second term in the Maine House of Representatives. To call her a rising star would be an understatement. Her leadership ability and policy expertise are impressive, not to mention her fearlessness as a debater on the floor of the House. Reagan will give us an insider’s look at what’s going on in the swamp as the Legislature gets closer to statutory adjournment in June.

We have set aside some time for a Q&A with Reagan, so come prepared with your questions for the good Representative from Winterport.

This is a free event, but we ask for a fully refundable $10 deposit to secure your seat. Jeff’s Catering will provide a free breakfast buffet of bagels, donuts, pastries, coffee, and tea. Your deposit will be refunded at the event.

RSVP HERE.

Best Regards,

PS: We’re in this battle for the long haul.

While I’m elated to have an ally rather than a malicious, demented adversary in the Oval Office, we can’t afford to take our foot off the gas. Maine is still a blue state, and a deeply corrupt one at that.
