Maine’s premier Somali Supremacist is about to learn what happens when Maine’s premier investigative journalist shines a bright light into Maine’s rancid Medicaid fraud swamp.
By the time this exercise is over, she will discover that posing as a victim, or playing the black or the brown race card, or even the Muslim card, won’t shield her from the relentless, up-close scrutiny that’s coming her way.
Thanks to Steve Robinson and his crew of investigative journalists at The Maine Wire for pulling back the curtain on the cronyism and corruption oozing from Maine state government.

Deqa Dhalac Faces Growing Scrutiny as Gateway MaineCare Scandal Deepens – The Maine Wire
Deqa Dhalac Steps Aside as Gateway Questions Grow and a Chat with Graham Platner – Maine Wire TV
Deqa Dhalac is serving her second term in the Maine House of Representatives and previously served as mayor of South Portland, making her the first Somali American elected mayor in the United States.
She recently announced that she won’t be seeking reelection to the House, citing alleged threats — none of which she reported to law enforcement — so I’m pretty sure we can dismiss her claims as lies.
What we do know is that she’s under investigation by the feds for Medicaid fraud.
I won’t belabor the unfolding scandal other than to remind you how much is at stake in the mid-term elections. The partisan divide in the Maine House is razor-thin, with Democrats winning their 3-seat majority in 2024 by fewer than 60 votes across those districts.
Maine First Project’s top priority this year is to flip the Maine House from the Bolshevik wing of the Democrat Party to the MAGA wing of the Republican Party. But make no mistake — we will have to hold Republicanfeet to the fire if they command a majority after the midterms.
You can help by insisting that whoever the GOP candidate is in your district, that he or she make the Somali fraud scandal THE central issue of the campaign. Lifelong Mainers have been kicked to the curb by one-party Bolshevik control of the executive and legislative branches of state government.
For the past seven years, Gov. Millstone and her stooges at the Statehouse have put Foreigners First for affordable housing and health care, while Mainers have been shoved to the back of the line for assistance.
We intend to draw a sharp contrast between the Bolshevik candidates and the Patriot candidates.
No more Frebbies for Foreigners, and no more Waitlists for Mainers!
Thanks again for all you do every day to restore Maine to The Way Life Should Be!
Best Regards,
Hon. Lawrence Lockman
