Time is Running Out for Candidates to Oppose K-12 Indoctrination

If not now, when?

Maine students are being harmed, and their parents are being cheated by this dysfunctional government-run monopoly. Now, with all 186 seats in the Legislature up for grabs on November 8th, Mainers have a real shot at cleaning up the mess that’s been made of public education.

The big question is, how many legislative candidates will step up and make this scandal a central issue in their campaigns?

I need your help to make sure candidates understand what’s at stake in this election — and the consequences for them if they turn their backs on the forgotten Mainers.

Your gift of $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can afford will be invested in applying maximum pressure on candidates to support legislation to banish political indoctrination and Queer Theory from K-12 classrooms.

I’m happy to report that at least one state Senator has risen to the challenge!

Lisa Keim of Dixfield, running for her 4th term in the Senate, delivered a blockbuster speech at the RSU 56 special school board meeting two weeks ago. She was one of eight parents who showed up to insist that gay porn has no place in the high-school library. The board agreed by a vote of 7-2, reversing an earlier decision to keep the grotesque and disgusting “Gender Queer: A Memoir” on the shelves.

Finally, an incumbent legislator stepped up at a school board meeting on behalf of the forgotten parents!

Unfortunately, Lisa is the only one I know of. I could be mistaken, so somebody please correct me if there’s another state legislator or candidate who deserves recognition.

This is one of those issues where doing the right thing is also the politically popular thing in just about every legislative district outside Portland and Bangor. And even in those woke precincts you may be surprised at the number of voters who are fed up with paying for educational malpractice.

But for some reason, establishment GOP leaders in Maine refuse to learn from what happened in Virginia last November.

The statewide elections for Governor and the Legislature became a referendum on the Leftist brainwashing in Virginia’s K-12 schools. A blue state turned red overnight because Republican candidates hammered that message home to voters.

We can make that happen here! We’re hearing from parents and grandparents all across the state who are showing up at school board meetings to push back against the dumbing-down and indoctrination in Maine’s government-run schools.

Your generous gift TODAY will enable our team at Maine First Project to reach, inform, and mobilize more Mainers in the run-up to November 8th. Whether it’s $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can afford, we’ll put it to work to make Maine education great again.

Thanks for all you do every day to make Maine such a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Sincerely,

Hon. Lawrence Lockman
Maine House of Representatives, 2012-2020
Co-founder & President
Maine First Project

PS
If not now, then when?

We owe it to the next generation of Mainers to rid our public schools of the twin plagues of race-based Identity Politics and demented gender-bender propaganda.

Your generous gift to Maine First Project — whether it’s $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can afford — will enable our team to reach more Mainers with the facts about K-12 indoctrination.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
