Who knew, way back in 1977 when the first “gay rights” bill was introduced in the Maine Legislature, that the ultimate objective had nothing to do with equality or fairness?
Now, 45 years later, we know that the target wasn’t discrimination against homosexuals. The unspoken purpose was, and always has been, to drive a wedge between parents and children, and to dismantle the nuclear family.
Far-fetched, you say?
Whether you agree with my analysis or not, I invite you to join Maine First Project supporters for a public forum hosted by the MSAD #17 Board of Directors, scheduled for tomorrow evening, Tuesday, November 1st, at 6 pm at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, 256 Main St., South Paris.
This is an opportunity for the public to weigh in on a “gender identity” policy for K-12 students in the Oxford Hills School District.
The proposed policy is based on advice from the Maine Human Rights Commission, the state agency that enforces the Maine Human Rights Act. If adopted, the policy will require staff at school to withhold information from parents about a child’s decision to transition to a different “gender identity.” School officials will even be required to coach students on how to keep their new “gender identity” secret from parents.
When 15-year-old Harry decides to become Sally, he can choose his own pronouns, join the girls’ athletic teams, and use whichever restroom or locker room suits his fancy on a given day.
The policy was drafted by lawyers at the Portland-based Drummond Woodsum law firm, in collusion with the woke ideologues at the Maine Department of Education and the Maine Human Rights Commission.
Members of the school board are being bullied and browbeaten to adopt the policy. Board members are being told, adopt the woke policy or face costly litigation when a “transgender” student (such as a boy pretending to be a girl) sues the district for discrimination.
Even if you don’t intend to speak at the public forum, your presence will be a visible show of support for the parents who will speak against the gender-bender madness that’s now the rule rather than the exception in Maine’s K-12 government-run schools.
If you know anyone in the Lewiston area who might be interested in attending, contact me at larrylockman22@gmail.com. so I can connect you with a car-pooler willing to share the ride if needed.
Make no mistake: This proposed policy is dangerous and demented nonsense. The lawyers, bureaucrats, teachers, and administrators pushing this extremist ideology are cultists who can be fairly described as aspiring witch doctors.
No coincidence, perhaps, it’s just in time for Halloween.
See you tomorrow evening at 6 pm in South Paris!
Sincerely,
Hon. Lawrence Lockman

Here’s the definition of “gender identity” from the transgender cultists at the Maine Human Rights Commission:
Madness!
Join us in South Paris tomorrow to keep the cultists out of the classroom.
