Troy Jackson vs. Bobby Charles: Debate Next week!

Mercifully, Gov. Janet Mills’ second and final term as Governor will end in January. She will leave office drenched in scandal — and not a moment too soon.

The race to replace the corrupt and incompetent Madam Millstone is heating up. We already have seven Democrats, eleven Republicans, and seven Independents who have declared their intent to compete in the June primary.

My personal opinion is that most, if not all, of the declared Democrat candidates are dangerous, deranged Leftists who can’t tell the difference between a boy and a girl. That delusion alone should disqualify them from holding public office. Additionally, all of them are complicit by their silence in the rampant Medicaid fraud perpetrated by Maine’s pampered and privileged Somali community.

Now for the good news:

I’m happy to report that the declared Republican candidates, for the most part, are patriots who know what time it is.

So I was pleased to hear that one of the Democrat candidates has challenged one of the GOP candidates to a debate. Former Maine Senate president Troy Jackson of Allagash has called out Republican and former US Assistant Secretary of State Bobby Charles for saying mean things about the Somali fraudsters.

Charles has accepted Jackson’s challenge to a televised debate at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 pm.

In a written statement to the Portland Press Herald, Charles said he would debate Jackson “on ICE and the corrupt ‘Somali-first politicians’ whose policies have contributed to chaos and rising crime.”

Sounds to me like that should be a lively debate!

“President Trump has been clear that Americans have a right to know that their tax dollars are not being diverted to fund acts of global terror or to fund luxury cars for fraudsters,” said Bessent on X.

“At Treasury, we follow the money. We did it with the mafia, we have done it with the cartels, and we’re doing it with the Somali fraudsters. We are going to offer whistleblower payments to anyone who wants to tell us the who, what, when, where, and how this fraud and money laundering has occurred,” he added.
