Last week, yet another Maine school board voted to restore common sense and biological reality, and reject the crackpot pseudo-science of so-called “transgender” ideology.
Hallelujah!
Regional School Unit 24 comprises nine municipalities in Hancock and Washington counties along the Down East coast of Maine. The district’s “Transgender and Gender-Expansive Students” policy was initially adopted in 2019. It allowed mentally ill, gender-dysphoric male students with male genitalia to relieve themselves in the girls’ restroom and shower in the girls’ locker room, as well as compete on the girls’ athletic teams.
Board member Carla Jung of Franklin deserves special credit for leading the charge, shepherding the repeal to enactment. She’s been on the board since March 28th of this year, when she unseated the woke nine-year incumbent chairman of the board.
Thanks to our generous donors and Maine First Project supporters like you, we were able to commit resources to that race, including a hard-hitting mailer in support of Carla.
So I’m pleased to announce that Carla will be a guest speaker at our upcoming free Activist Training on Saturday, November 8th in Brewer! You can register for this invitation-only event by clicking HERE.
Think of it as basic training in the art and science of confrontational politics, fighting fire with fire in the culture-war battles that rage around us. Maine First Project is recruiting and training a peaceful, patriotic, grassroots army of Mainers who understand what awaits our children and grandchildren if we flinch from the battle ahead.
There will be a strong focus on strategy and tactics for flipping school boards from woke to wise. We are setting aside plenty of time for Q&A after Carla’s presentation.
No doubt the political landscape has shifted in the past year, with at least six school boards statewide voting to reject the bizarre transgender ideology being pushed by the corrupt and incompetent Millstone administration in Augusta.
As always, I will be joined by Zach Gelpey, co-founder and executive director of Maine First Project. We will paint the big picture, going back to the Tea Party wave 15 years ago that swept Paul LePage into the Blaine House and delivered conservative majorities in both chambers, but came crashing down two years later.
We plan to support and assist Maine First candidates for the Maine House of Representatives next year, where the Marxist majority is razor-thin. A shift of just 60 votes across three House districts last year would have put the Marxists in the minority for the first time since 2010.
The tide has surely turned in Maine, and we plan to capitalize on this momentum as next year’s midterm elections approach.
Mark your calendar: Saturday, November 8th, from 9 am to noon in Brewer.
This is an invitation-only event, so please let us know if you would like to attend. To register, click HERE.
Best Regards,

PS
Do any of us fully understand what a pathetic paper tiger the trans cult has become?
Of Maine’s 224 school districts, as of the end of last year, a mere 25 have adopted the radical “Transgender and Gender-Expansive Students” policy being foisted on them by the shysters at the Portland-based Drummond Woodsum law firm.
That’s just 11% of Maine school boards!
Choose your metaphor: paper tiger, or house of cards.
