A Tale of Two Maines

Not just geographically, but culturally.

The fact is, the cultural divide between The County and the Peoples Republic of Portland only grows as Maine’s biggest city continues to descend into the abyss of wokeness. The limousine liberals who run city government there are now poised to spend COVID cash from the DC swamp to build rent-free apartments for illegal immigrants — while lifelong Mainers search in vain for affordable housing.

Now more than ever, we need to make sure that sort of woke madness doesn’t spread to The County.

If you agree, join me in Presque Isle on Saturday, October 22nd, for basic training in cultural and political warfare. Maine First Project is hosting another free Activist Training — this one focused on the “Ground Game” that’s the foundation of any successful political campaign. This specialized training is by invitation only, so reach me at larrylockman22@gmail.com if you’re interested.

We require a $25 upfront deposit to secure your seat. However, your deposit will be FULLY REFUNDED at the event. We don’t want the deposit to be an obstacle to attendance.

Anyone who is volunteering to help a local candidate — whether they’re running for town council, school board, county commissioner, or the state Legislature — or wants to volunteer or run in future campaigns will want to join us in Presque Isle on the 22nd!

Whether you’re new to politics or have some campaign experience, don’t miss this opportunity to network with like-minded Mainers who are on the frontlines of the culture-war battles that rage around us.

There are no shortcuts or trick plays on the path to restoring Maine to the Way Life Should Be. Victory will require basic training and hard work.

The reward will be pulling our beloved state back from the precipice, so our grandchildren will be able to enjoy the same liberty we have been blessed with.

See you in The County on October 22nd!

Best Regards,

Hon. Lawrence Lockman
Maine House of Representatives, 2012-2020
Co-founder & President
Maine First Project

P.S.
Ten years ago this month, I was on the campaign trail for election to the Maine House of Representatives, running for an open seat after the incumbent was termed out. I won that race and was re-elected three times after the 2012 race.

My good friend Zach Gelpey, co-founder and Executive Director of Maine First Project, will join me in Presque Isle for the October 22nd training. He coached me through a very difficult 2014 re-election campaign, when the Left unloaded a district-wide smear campaign against me.

Wanna hear some war stories? Seriously, join us in Presque Isle before the snow flies, and we will share what we have learned about peaceful and patriotic political warfare.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
