Maine’s 2022 Teacher of the Year Pushes CRT Indoctrination

October 24 –

Every time I entertain the thought that Maine’s K-12 government-run schools couldn’t sink any lower into the swamp of indoctrination and depravity… Boom!…

…along comes a news item that would have been unthinkable just a few short years ago!

The state Department of Education announced last week that their pick for 2022 TEACHER OF THE YEAR — a middle-school teacher in Hampden — is a member of the district’s “Equity in Education Committee.” Hardly a surprise, I guess.

The press release from the DOE informed us that the newly-minted Teacher of the Year gave preference to BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ authors on a recommended reading list she compiled.

Again, is anyone shocked that a public school teacher would make decisions about reading material based on the skin color of the authors?

Sadly, this sort of racist mindset is now the rule rather than the exception in the K-12 swamp.

But who would have imagined that kiddie porn for 6th graders would be on the reading list?

And get this: the RSU 22 board (Hampden, Frankfort, Newburgh, Winterport) is OK with that!

The good news is that the slumbering giant is stirring. Parents and grandparents are beginning to take notice of what’s going on in their schools, and they’re pushing back against the school boards and administrators who are responsible for this rubbish.

Maine First Project supporters are on the cutting edge of this fight!

We invite you to attend our next free Activist Training to learn more. Our team will teach you how to discover and then expose what’s going on in your local school district.

And of course, we will cover the basics of effective activism regardless of what the particular issue is. The focus will be on the next session of the Legislature that begins in January, as well as the 2022 election cycle.

This training will be in Brewer on Saturday, October 30th from 9 am to 1 pm. This event is by invitation only, so shoot me an email if you’re interested in attending. The last training in Bath maxed out at capacity for the venue to the point that we turned away more than half a dozen requests for seats.

We require a fully refundable $25 deposit to secure your seat.

Joining us again is Shawn McBreairty, who will share his insights on using the Freedom of Access Act (FOAA) to shine a bright light into the darkest corners of the K-12 swamp.

He and I spoke during the “public comment” segment of the RSU 22 board meeting this past Wednesday evening, about which we will have more to tell you at the training.

We will also be joined by Pastor Ken Graves of Calvary Chapel Bangor. Ken will be speaking about the unconstitutional assault on freedom of worship that Gov. Janet Mills unleashed on March 15th of last year.

Ken and his flock at Calvary Chapel have been stalwart defenders of the First Amendment for the past year and a half, even while many others meekly submitted to Big Sister’s tyranny.

This will be our last Activist Training of 2021, and it promises to be our biggest yet!

We have a great venue and a great line-up of guest speakers. So we’re looking forward to a great training session.

Let me know if you’re interested!

Beat Regards,

PS

Do you have any idea how disconnected from reality the Superintendent and school board members are in Hampden?

They’re filling kids’ heads full of racist propaganda, but administrators aren’t the least bit embarrassed by the terrible statistics on the academic performance of their students

Half to three-quarters of the students in RSU 22 are below or well below expectations for their grade level in reading, math, and science.

But who cares? These kids are in training to be Social Justice Warriors, aren’t they?

Join us in Brewer on Saturday, October 30th to learn more about how to push back against the Leftist agenda in Augusta, and in your local school district. And if you can’t make it, consider a $25 gift to Maine First Project so we can continue to offer free trainings once the New Year arrives.
