Pulling Maine Back from the Precipice…

Just when you thought Maine’s K-12 indoctrination camps couldn’t get any more woke, along comes another instance of brazen, in-your-face partisan politics in the classroom.

This time it came from the Gray-New Gloucester Middle School, but it could have come from just about anywhere in Maine.

And the principal can’t deny it, because there’s a high-quality audio recording of the teacher running her ignorant mouthabout MAGA hats and rich white men. (Kudos to Steve Robinson at The Maine Wire for breaking this story!)

So…what can you and I do about the sorry state of public education in Maine?

Try this:

You can register for Maine First Project’s next Activist Training session, where we will focus on the long game of restoring Maine to The Way Life Should Be — one election cycle, one school district, and one state legislative district at a time.

Join us on Saturday, October 22nd in Presque Isle for specialized training in the winning “Ground Game” that’s the foundation of any successful run for public office. This event is by invitation only, so shoot me an email at larrylockman22@gmail.com if you’re interested.

I’ll be joined in Presque Isle by our Director of Special Projects, Shawn McBreairty, who heads up our Forgotten Parents Initiative. Shawn will share his personal experience at the local school board level, as well as the lessons we can learn from deep-blue Virginia turning red last November.

In addition, my good friend Zach Gelpey — Co-founder and Executive Director of Maine First Project — will share the knowledge he gleaned from his experience managing the “ground game” in legislative races here in Maine and around the country.

We require a $25 upfront deposit to secure your seat. However, your deposit will be FULLY REFUNDED at the event. We don’t want the deposit to be an obstacle to attendance.

Anyone who is volunteering to help a local candidate — whether they’re running for town council, school board, county commissioner, or the state Legislature — or wants to volunteer or run in future campaigns will want to join us in Presque Isle on the 22nd!

Whether you’re new to politics or have some campaign experience, don’t miss this opportunity to network with like-minded Mainers who are on the frontlines of the culture-war battles that rage around us.

There are no shortcuts or trick plays on the path to restoring Maine to The Way Life Should Be. Victory will require basic training and hard work.

The reward will be pulling our beloved state back from the precipice, so our grandchildren will be able to enjoy the same liberty we have been blessed with.

See you in Presque Isle this coming Saturday the 22nd!

Sincerely,

Hon. Lawrence Lockman
Maine House of Representatives, 2012-2020
Co-founder & President
Maine First Project

PS

Maine’s government-run K-12 schools are a $2 Billion-a-year business. Yes, that’s “Billion” with a “B”!

And you thought Maine was a poor state!

But the K-12 Goliath is teetering, despite the best efforts of the education monopolists to prop him up with gobs of cash.

Join us in Presque Isle this Saturday, as we discuss the “ground game” that’s essential to winning any campaign — even one where the odds seem hopelessly stacked against you.
