July 12 – Hardly a day goes by in recent weeks that we don’t see another news report about a raucous school board meeting somewhere in America.

Parents across the country are fed up with the brazen Leftist indoctrination of their children.

At long last, the slumbering giant is stirring!

Maine First Project is doing everything we can to reach and mobilize more Mainers to be on the front lines of these battles. I believe the pernicious Leftist indoctrination that’s rampant in Maine’s K-12 government-run schools is the most urgent issue we face as we gear up for the 2022 election cycle.

So please join me in Whiting (way Downeast in Washington County) on Friday evening, July 16th at 6:30 pm at the Whiting Community Center, 169 Rt. 1 in Whiting.

This is the regular monthly meeting of the Washington County Republican committee.

My talk is titled, Leftist Indoctrination in Maine’s K-12 Classrooms: Marxist Hate Dressed Up as Racial Justice.

I will be focusing on a brief history of Criminal Race Theory…oops, I mean, Critical Race Theory, and how this toxic, racist ideology spilled over from the elite universities into our K-12 schools.

I’ll also walk the audience through the legislative jungle for a tour of the swampy Education committee, where the members voted in lockstep to keep CRT in place in Maine’s public schools.

And we’ll discuss how parents and taxpayers might use the roll call vote on LD 550 — the proposed Code of Ethics for teachers, banning political and ideological indoctrination — in next year’s legislative elections.

See you in Whiting on Friday evening!

Best Regards,

Hon. Lawrence Lockman
Maine House of Representatives, 2012-2020
Co-founder & President

PS    Yes indeed, the slumbering giant is stirring, thanks to the persistence of Maine First patriots like you.

When the giant is fully awake — not woke, but awake — there will be no place to hide for the smug, condescending “educators” who think they’re smarter and more virtuous than the (mostly Deplorable) parents and taxpayers who provide them with generous salaries, benefits, and nearly bullet-proof job security.

You can help Maine First Project reach and mobilize more Mainers with a generous one-time or recurring gift. Whether it’s $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can afford, your support enables our team to continue recruiting more Maine First patriots for the battles ahead.

See you in Whiting on Friday at 6:30 pm!
