Dear Fellow Mainer,
The latest news from America’s wide-open southern border must have brought smiles to the faces of Gov. Janet Mills and her advisors.
The number of migrants encountered crossing the southwest border illegally last month was an astonishing 269,735 – a new record, and an increase of nearly 40,000 over August. Those numbers don’t include the “got-aways,” which have averaged 50,000 a month since Traitor Joe took office. These are mostly military-age single males who didn’t bother checking in with the Border Patrol’s welcome wagon to pick up a free phone and a bus ticket.
If we do nothing, Maine is almost sure to get its fair share of the invaders, all the better to help Gov. Mills achieve her goal of attracting 15,000 unvetted foreign nationals to settle here every year for the next five years — at taxpayer expense!
The good news is that we still have time to derail Mills’ dangerously stupid plan before she submits it to the Legislature in late January.
Maine’s illegal immigration crisis will be at the top of the agenda for our FREE “Pizza & Politics” event in Auburn on Thursday, November 9th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Let me knowif you’re interested, as this event is by invitation only, and we require a fully refundable deposit of $10.
Also up for discussion will be the deepening depravity of Maine’s K-12 taxpayer-funded indoctrination centers.
Hardly a day goes by that I don’t hear another horror story about what’s going on in the classroom, in the locker room, and on the athletic field. But don’t despair, help is on the way!
Maine First Project now has a legal opinion from a Maine law firm warning school boards of their potential liability if they allow biological boys to use girls’ restrooms and locker rooms. I will lead a review and discussion of the legal opinion, and I’m looking forward to getting it into the hands of Maine parents and taxpayers who are tired of being told that allowing boys in the girls’ room is “settled law.” Not so!
Our executive director Zach Gelpey will brief attendees on the forward momentum we’re seeing in grassroots activism across the state. With Maine First Project supporters focused on local school board races as never before, Zach will share some tips on how to be an effective advocate for sanity in the classroom and on the athletic field.
We aim to make this a fun and informative event for all who attend.
So, join like-minded Mainers in Auburn on Thursday, November 9th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for another FREE “Pizza & Politics” event hosted by Maine First Project! The menu includes gourmet pizza, coleslaw, broccoli & cheddar soup, regular and decaf coffee, tea, iced tea, lemonade, water, and assorted cookies and brownies.
Part of my presentation at the Auburn event will be a quick review of Gov. Millstone’s insane executive order calling on her staff to create a plan to bring another 75,000 illegal immigrants to Maine — a plan that will drive down wages for Mainers and drive up votes for Democrats. The press release from her office is brimming with endorsements from a host of swamp-dwellers, and reads like a Who’s Who in Maine’s sprawling Nanny State Non-Profit Industrial Complex.
That’s nauseating enough, but Mills also plants a big wet kiss on LD 1050, a Republican bill to allow illegal immigrants who identify as “asylum seekers” to go to work within 30 days after stepping off the bus in Portland. I commented on this awful bill when it was introduced in March, but we need to review it again since Mills touts it as evidence of “bipartisan” support for bringing another 75,000 illegals here at taxpayer expense.
I’m looking forward to our get-together in Auburn, and I hope you are too. It will be a great opportunity to break bread and network with like-minded Mainers.
See you there!
Best Regards,
Hon. Lawrence Lockman

P.S.
The same open borders that facilitate the flow of cheap labor to Maine also facilitate the flow of deadly fentanyl. But Janet Mills doesn’t care.
How many more Mainers need to die from fentanyl poisoning before Maine’s governor sobers up? Can’t she connect the dots between open borders and the spike in fentanyl fatalities, which now account for 80% of drug deaths in Maine?
Let’s get together to discuss what each of us can do within our individual spheres of influence to encourage our fellow Mainers to push back against the open-borders madness that’s turning Maine into a narcotics-drenched killing field.
