Sanity vs. Insanity: The fight for Maine’s future

Fake News BDN circles wagons to defend Bangor HS Drag Queen indoctrination

Have Maine’s K-12 government-run schools sunk so deeply into the mire of dysfunction and depravity that they’ve passed the point of no return?

Let’s examine…and after pointing out the problem, I’ll outline three ways you can help Maine First Project fight back against the insanity on display in Maine classrooms, and the corrupt corporate-controlled media that celebrate it.

If Bangor High School is fairly typical of public high schools across the state — and the evidence suggests it is — I think it’s a safe bet these institutions are in a downward spiral from which they will not recover. It’s time for parents to pull their kids out before the inevitable crash and burn…

It’s bad enough that Bangor High School was already:

  • Exposing students to X-rated gay porn in the library and on recommended reading lists,
  • Coaching mentally ill students to keep secrets from their parents, and
  • Allowing biological boys to relieve themselves in the girls’ restroom, or strut around in their birthday suits in the girls’ locker room.

More recently, the dolts who run the school proclaimed drag queen Dom Varney (aka, Priscilla Poppycocks) as a “role model” for students! That’s right, a role model. Bangor High School invited Dom to spend 90 minutes with students on May 4th, sharing his experience as a gay man growing up in Winterport.

Isn’t that special!

Dom didn’t dress in drag for his meeting with students, but at the rate we’re going, it’s only a matter of time before that happens. Decked out in his gay apparel for an on-stage performance, Dom (“Priscilla Poppycocks”) is the guy on the left in the black corset and garters:

In just a minute, I’m going to be asking you to contact the school’s DEI coordinator (yes, they have a DEI office at the school), encourage you to pull your kids and grandkids out of government-run schools, and ask you to help Maine First Project fight back against the insanity in Maine schools.

But first…

Enter now the very Fake News BDN to shoot the messenger and circle the wagons around administrators who want students to regard drag queens as heroic figures. Think of it as dishonest Fake News reporters and editors at the Bangor Daily News providing cover for dishonest Fake educators at Bangor High School:

“Bangor High School held a speaker series for students aimed at promoting the acceptance and visibility of LGBTQ+ students, but conservative activists and news organizations published misinformation claiming a drag queen performed for students…

The high school’s speaker series is the latest target of misinformation, online vitriol and intolerance from conservative organizations and individuals who in recent years have demonized members of the LGBTQ+ community and drag performers. When schools are involved, those efforts often include attempts to censor what information students have access to.”

No, a drag queen did not perform at Bangor High School
by Kathleen O’Brien

When I started reading Kathleen’s near-hysterical rant yesterday morning, I mistakenly thought I was reading a BDN editorial. Or perhaps an opinion column by one of the alphabet people who toil in the vineyards of Maine’s hyper-sensitive, ever-vigilant Rainbow Mafia. My mistake. The drivel above is what passes for news reporting today, as the BDN’s readership continues to crater.

In any case, it’s curious that the reporter didn’t identify any of the “conservative activists and news organizations” alleged to have
“demonized members of the LGBTQ+ community and drag performers.” If conservatives really committed these atrocities, why not call them out by name?

Maine First Project is proud to fess up: Yes, we were the first to report on Bangor High School hosting this event. But no, we didn’t demonize anyone. And we certainly didn’t make any sort of claim that a drag queen “performed” for students. The BDN just made that up out of thin air.

Shawn McBreairty, who heads up Maine First Project’s Forgotten Parents Initiative, broke the story on July 5th. We posted it online the same day. The Epoch Times took note, and published a story on July 8th, followed by Fox News on the 11th, and FrontPageMag on the 18th.  Just the sort of national negative publicity the administrators at BHS so richly deserve.

The dishonest BDN hit piece makes a big deal of the fact that the $1,000 stipend paid to darling Dom wasn’t “taxpayer” funding. Rather, it was grant money from a Left-wing non-profit based in Quincy, Massachusetts. Allow me to retort on behalf of Maine parents and grandparents: So what? The grant was solicited by Bangor High’s in-house diversity fascists, who used school resources paid for by Maine taxpayers to glamorize a drag queen longing to share his personal story with school children.

Yes, Bangor High is wasting tax revenue on a hateful Diversity Equity & Inclusion department — complete with its own well-compensated coordinator.

So…what can you do to push back against this warped and demented, taxpayer-funded rubbish? I’m glad you asked! I’ve got three steps you can take to combat the San Francisco Values mob that controls Maine’s government-run schools and media.

First, contact the diversity hack at Bangor High School and let her know what you think about presenting drag queens to young children as role models:

Next, if you have kids in ANY of the government-run schools in Bangor, it’s long past time to find alternative education for them. Check out Homeschoolers of Maine for accurate information and reliable guidance. If homeschooling isn’t an option for you in your present circumstances, there are a number of top-notch private schools in the greater Bangor area. Check them out.

Finally, if you’re so inclined, consider a monthly gift to Maine First Project. Our supporters have been the tip of the spear in the battle to flip school boards across the state, and we’ve racked up some impressive victories already this year. Your support every month will fuel the campaigns ahead.

I say it’s time to de-fund the government-run indoctrination centers and grooming parlors. The exodus from these sick institutions is beginning to accelerate, and not a moment too soon for the well-being of the next generation of Mainers.

Let our children go!

Best Regards,

Hon. Lawrence Lockman

P.S.
The Epoch Times, Fox News, and FrontPageMag all picked up the story Maine First Project’s Director of Special Projects, Shawn McBreairty broke about Bangor High School bringing in a drag queen named Priscilla Poppycocks and presenting him to impressionable students as a role model to be emulated.

Now Maine’s lying, dying Fake News media are circling the wagons to defend the cult-like insanity that’s become the new normal in government-run schools.

Here are three ways you can peacefully and patriotically fight back:

  1. Make a monthly recurring contribution to Maine First Project’s efforts to fight fire with fire in the culture wars raging in our once-great state.
  2. Rely on the resources from Homeschoolers of Maine to remove your children and grandchildren from the brainwashing factories disguised as public schools.
  3. Call Bangor High’s DEI coordinator and calmly and respectfully let her know schools should be about classic education — NOT, as Maine School Czar Pender Makin would describe, “healthy humaning.”
