On the Ballot in November: Restoring Maine to the Way Life Should Be

Now that Maine’s primary elections are in the rearview mirror, it’s time to focus our undivided attention on November’s midterm elections, when every one of Maine’s 186 legislative seats is up for grabs.

But before pivoting to November, I have a brief comment on what we just endured:

If you detest Ranked Choice Voting as much as I do, understand that the only way to get rid of it is to elect a conservative Governor and conservative majorities in both chambers of the Maine Legislature. The courts won’t fix this, and neither will a citizens’ initiative campaign.

There are no shortcuts or quick fixes.

If we don’t flip the House, the Senate, and the Blaine House in November, we will be condemned to endure this year’s electoral chaos again in 2028, not to mention the cronyism and corruption that will ooze from the executive branch under a Gov. Pingree.

So let’s get serious about electing Maine First candidates up and down the ballot. Let’s put an end to the malignant one-party tyranny of the past eight years.

Maine First Project will be active in eight to ten House races and two or three Senate races this year. Our team is still vetting candidates before making any final decisions on which districts to target.

As you know, we fight fire with fire in these legislative races. We understand that politics ain’t beanbag, it’s combat.

Incumbent legislators who voted in favor of so-called “sanctuary city” legislation — protecting violent criminal aliens from deportation — will be targeted. So will legislators who voted to force girls to share toilet and shower facilities with boys in Maine’s K-12 government-run schools.

Exposing these bad actors will cost money, that’s for sure. But giving them a pass will be much more expensive.

Will you chip in today to support our work in this enormously consequential election year? Whether it’s $25, $50, $100, $250, or whatever you can afford, your generous gift will help us expose the leftist lunatic legislators who care more about foreign-born fraudsters than they do about lifelong Mainers. On behalf of our team at Maine First Project, I want to convey our thanks for all you do every day to help restore Maine to The Way Life Should Be.

We do appreciate it.
