Reflections on Elections: Friends Don’t Let Friends Vote for Communists!

This year’s midterm elections are the most consequential elections of our lifetimes.

OK, I’m sure you’ve heard similar apocalyptic predictions before.

This year it’s really true!

Simply put…

The Maine we cherish will not survive another eight years of the left-wing cronyism, corruption, and criminality that have dominated Augusta since Gov. Janet Mills took office in 2019.

In collusion with pro-communist, open-borders Democratmajorities in the Legislature, Mills has done enormous damage to Maine’s culture and economy.

Thousands of non-citizen newcomers from the Third World have settled here over the past decade at taxpayer expense. These “new Mainers” have ripped off tens, possibly hundreds, of millions of Medicaid dollars intended for the care of elderly and disabled Mainers.

The wholesale neglect and abuse of Maine’s most vulnerable citizens is a scandal that will follow Gov. Millstone to her grave.

In the meantime…

With less than three weeks before Election Day, we need to do everything we can to drive turnout of voters who understand that a vote for ANY Democrat is a vote to pound the final nail into Maine’s coffin.

If you have a friend or family member who knows what’s at stake but is still a “low propensity” voter, please drag them to the polls on November 3rd — if not sooner.

Remind them, as author Eric Metaxas puts it, that if you were born in America, you owe the Founders a debt you can never repay. They put their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor at risk to secure the liberty too many of us take for granted.

The least we can do is show up at the polling place on Election Day.

In closing…

Thanks for all you do every day to make Maine sane again!

Maine First Project remains on the frontlines of the battle to restore Maine to The Way Life Should Be. Let’s throw the bums out while we continue to shine a bright light into the darkest corners of the Augusta swamp.

Soldier on!
